Victoria Industries Limited has been manufacturing Recreational Vehicle products and accessories since 1967. Clyde Cameron founded the company September 21, 1967. The company started up as a camper jack manufacturer. The mechanical camper jacks were the companies’ first camper jacks, however, they were discontinued in 1986. In 1980 the HIJACKER hydraulic camper jack was brought on and is still a major product for the company. In 1980 it was decided to expand its product line to camper steps, an RV accessory that would complement the camper jack business.
In 1983 fifth Wheel Hitches and under carriage Receivers for pick up trucks were produced. The most complete and flexible lines of Fifth Wheel Hitches in the industry were offered. Moving into towing products was a significant change from camper jacks. After several years of numerous design changes, the hitches would become the number one product. |
