| The Intelli Power 9200 Series RV Converter Charger is all-inclusive with a Built-in Charge Wizard that keeps your RV battery charged and protected, the smart way! This Rv power converters Charge Wizard has a microprocessor that constantly monitors the RV battery voltage to determine how much the RV battery has been used on this RV power converter. Based on this information the motorhome converter automatically adjusts the converter output voltage to one of the four operating modes. Included with each 9200 Series Converter/Charger is a pendant which shows charger converter status and allows for manual mode selection.  | The Intelli power 9200 series has four modes of operation:
Boost(14.4 Volts):Rapidly recharges RV battery to 90% of full charge. Automatically selected after RV hs been used to dry camp.
Normal(13.6 Volts): Safely completes the charge and maintains it during RV use.
Storage(13.2 Volts): automatically lowers the converter voltage, once the batter is fully charged for 30-hours and is not being used. This lower voltage prevents excess gassing and water use.
Desulfation:: Increases the converter voltage for 15-minutes every 21 hours while in the Storage Mode. This prevents batter stratification causing sulfation...the leading cause of battery failure. |

In 1993, after fifteen years of developing electronic switching power supplies for other industries, Progressive Dynamics began manufacturing its first electronic power converter, the Inteli-power 9000® series, for the Recreational Vehicle market. This new design gave the RV manufacturer a reliable converter that was smaller, lighter, and provided regulated and filtered DC power to all 12-volt RV circuits. During extensive testing on the recharge cycle of batteries, our engineers soon realized the need to develop an intelligent battery charging system using a microprocessor. By 1996, they had designed a circuit that could continuously monitor battery charge status and then use this data to automatically increase or decrease the charging voltage as needed. This microprocessor has become the heart of the Total Charge Management System® (TCMS). |
