The Commander RV Tow Bar is one of Demco's Victory Series RV Tow Bars and tows up to 6,000lbs. Demco has designed the Commander Tow Bar with true independent arm movement. A great advantage is the ease of hooking and unhooking your towed car because the vertical bolt allows you to maneuver the tow bar one leg at a time.
Demco's safety coils are vinyl covered and are attached safely out of your way with attached safety cable mounting clips. So no worrying about dragging cables or where they should go when your parked.
Only Demco Victory Series tow bars have a 1 1/2 in rise/drop receiver tube, you won't find this with any other manufacturer. Also, you won't have to purchase any additional rise/drop equipment because it's built-in.
Demco made the head joint that the receiver is attached to is adjustable so you can adjust your tow bar to be level with the road while towing, like it is supposed to be. The adjustable head pivots up and down and allows 3 in of dispacement. With the 1 1/2 in from the offset receiver you'll see the versatility you need. You won't find this in other tow bars.
The Commander Tow Bar (part of Demco Victory Series Tow Bars) are RV mounted in the receiver hitch of the RV! No ball & coupler, the tow bar is are self aligning and adjustable from the hitch. There is no need to have to try and line up a coupler to a ball and receiver.
Everyone wants easy hook-up and disconnection to be easy and Demco has done this for you. The Demco Easy Trigger Release that Demco created is truly non-binding. If pressure is on the connecting leg, it does not matter. The angled design of the internal latch block allows the trigger release to activate under pressure. There are no extra tools required to hook up or release!
Attention to detail is what Demco is all about. The Commander RV Tow Bars are self-supporting. What is self supporting? It means resistance is built into the tow bar connecting legs. When unfolded, they will not fall to the ground. This makes hooking up a faster and cleaner process.
All Demco tow bars INCLUDE safety cables. Our competition offers the
safety cable as an option. All cables are rated to exceed towing capacities
so you can travel with peace of mind.
The creative design of Demco's Victory Series Tow Bars allow for multiple storage positions. You store them on your motorhome and the independent arm movement built into each tow bar enables the you to store the tow bar to the right, left or each leg opposing each other.
A great warrany from Demco...Demco tow bars have a Limited Lifetime Warranty to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service from date of purchase by the original (first) retail owner, or until it is resold or transferred by the original owner. Any part of the Demco Tow Bar found in the judgment of the manufacturer to be defective in materials or workmanship will be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer's option without charge for parts or labor to the original owner. DEMCO...the only manufacturer that does!
Demco uses Finite Elemental Analysis when they test baseplates so they are the safest they can be. Demco Baseplates are tested for 3 of the most important requirements: Strength, Durability and Functionality. Demco also want your commander baseplates to be accessible but not visible so your vehicle looks likeit should. On most vehicles you won't see the baseplate hanging below, rising above or protruding from your bumper or grill. Demco baseplates bolts permantly to the chassis, with easy hookup. Hookup is accomplished with 2 attaching pins with quick pins and 2 safety cables with safety hook retainers. You'll find a Demco baseplate for most vehicles!
