| Draw-Tite Activator III brake controls with advanced performance. Use the Activiator III brake controls with trailers that have electric brakes. When you apply the trailer brakes, as soon as the brake pedal is engaged electronically. Other brake controllers, using unlike pendulum models which react to inertia created after the tow vehicle's brakes have already begun to stop, the electronic action in the Activator III works faster.
Use the Activator III on trailers with 1 to 4 axles. Features digital output indicator, soft touch thumb wheel, overload indicator and up-front manual override control. The front display allows you to see at almost any angle. You can mount the the display at almost any angle and in any position, and you don't have to level it. |

Draw-Tite was started in 1946 by Bill Whichello. Bill was an inventor and his first product was a clothesline tighetner. He called it a Draw-Tite. Unfortunately, that was about the time residential clothes dryers became popular and there was not much call for the original Draw-Tite. Fortunately, Bill was also an avid RV’er. He built a trailer hitch for his car and, since he already had the name copyrighted, he called it a Draw-Tite. Soon, Draw-Tite became a symbol of craftsmanship in the towing industry.
Over fifty years and millions of trailer hitches later, the same care and patience is put into every hitch built today as Bill Whichello did fifty years ago. Also the use of technologically advanced equipment and with the most experience in the industry, Draw-Tite meets the challenges of today’s tow vehicles. |
