To ensure safe, yet reliable operation, all Inteli Power converters are UL and CSA listed. The Inteli-Power converter for RVs provides regulated power to all 12-volt RV lighting, while also providing safe, yet rapid battery recharge rates with minimum battery maintenance. These RV power converters include other features like High and Low voltage operation, intelligent cooling fan, reverse battery protection and electronic current limiting. Inteli-Power converters are available with 30, 40, 45, 60 and 80 amp output ratings and are the motorhome converter of choice for leading RV manufacturers.
Use the Inteli-Power’s exclusive TCMS connector to plug in the optional Charge Wizard, a microprocessor controlled module that turns the Inteli-Power RV converter into an intelligent battery charger.
The Charge Wizard on these RV power inverters constantly monitors the RV battery to determine its voltage and use and then automatically selects one of four different operating modes (Boost, Normal, Storage or Equalize). The Charge Wizard’s four distinct charging modes automatically vary the charging voltage to ensure safe, fast recharge cycles and long battery life with minimum maintenance on these RV inverters.

Charge Wizard by Progressive Dynamics
The Charge Wizard is a microprocessor-controller that constantly monitors the RV battery voltage to determine if the battery requires a quick recharge, is fully charged and being used, or is fully charged and is in storage. The Charge Wizard then selects one of three charging voltages: 14.4, 13.6, or 13.2; and one of four operating modes (Boost, Normal, Storage or Equalize) to properly re-charge or maintain the battery. |

In 1993, after fifteen years of developing electronic switching power supplies for other industries, Progressive Dynamics began manufacturing its first electronic power converter, the Inteli-power 9000® series, for the Recreational Vehicle market. This new design gave the RV manufacturer a reliable converter that was smaller, lighter, and provided regulated and filtered DC power to all 12-volt RV circuits. During extensive testing on the recharge cycle of batteries, our engineers soon realized the need to develop an intelligent battery charging system using a microprocessor. By 1996, they had designed a circuit that could continuously monitor battery charge status and then use this data to automatically increase or decrease the charging voltage as needed. This microprocessor has become the heart of the Total Charge Management System® (TCMS). |
