The high-efficiency AirV Air Conditioning system from Carrier is especially designed for recreational vehicles, and a heating option is available for cooler climates. AirV features all-copper coils, a Carrier compressor, high-strength polymer construction, and a powder-paint-coated base pan. It’s designed and built to maximize cooling capacity, efficiency, and reliability. It resists corrosion to minimize maintenance time and cost. And it’s engineered using only top quality components for lower overall life-cycle cost.
These systems feature high-strength, lightweight polymer construction that won’t rust or discolor. It delivers 13,500 or 15,000 BTUs of cooling, ample even for larger RV’s. AirV offers an optional 5,600 BTU electric heating assembly. Full-load amp draw is only 13.5A cooling and 15.6A heating! You can even specify it for ceiling air distribution (the electric heating assembly is only available for the air distribution ceiling unit) or ducted air. The exclusive “slinger” wheel recycles condensation back onto the condenser coil to virtually eliminate water runoff!
The AirV Ceiling Assembly features an automatic “Air Sweep”, which oscillates to provide more even distribution of conditioned air. The exclusive AirShower feature pours cool air directly down from the ceiling assembly to cool you quickly after being out in the heat. The ceiling assembly must be purchased separately. This product measures 2½ inches in height by 19½ inches in width and 25½inches in length.
The Ducted Ceiling Assembly is designed for coaches that have air ducts in the ceiling. The Carrier AirV Ceiling Assembly will work with any current ceiling duct assemblies. The wireless remote makes operation of the air conditioner a breeze. Simply adjust the temperature on the remote and the Carrier AirV will follow your commands. No more getting out of bed to adjust the temperature, just take the remote to wherever you are in the coach. This product measures ¾'' in height by 17'' wide by 17'' long.
Aerodynamic rooftop and Slimline ceiling air distribution assemblies are available in a choice of White and Ivory. The rooftop assembly weighs less then competitive 13,500 BTU units at only 90 lbs installed weight, which makes AirV an ideal choice for pop-up campers. Air filters are quick and easy to clean or replace, which simplifies general maintenance. The approximate dimensions are 41 inches by 22 inches by 13 inches. Wired ceiling units feature a "residential style" wall thermostat for a familiar "like home" feel. Designed for RVs with "in-ceiling" duct work, the ducted ceiling unit is available with a wireless remote control or a wired wall thermostat. The wireless remote control (for ducted ceilings) features a dehumidification mode as well as multiple timer options.
