| At a 46 mA of current draw, the lowest draw of any gas detector, the useful life of your battery is extended. It is fully operational from 6 to 16 volts DC, which gives you a detector that will continually operate until the battery is almost dead. Double Check Circuit - Eliminates false alarms caused by a brief exposure to perfumes, hair spray, cleaners, aerosol sprays, and other flammable gases. An eight second double check circuit is used to verify a gas leak from a momentary gas exposure. Mute Circuit - Temporally silences the detector for two minutes. For added safety, the Red LED will continue to flash and the alarm will beep every 30 seconds until the gas has cleared. Re-Alarm During Mute - When gas reenters the area during the Mute cycle, the detector will sound the alarm 4 times and the Red LED will signal an alarm condition. Safe-T-Lock Malfunction Circuit - Detector flashes an alternating Red/Green visual signal and audibly sounds a signal once very 15 seconds. A unique operational feature that gives an immediate identification of the type of alarm to assist you, as well as service and response personnel is that the Mute switch cannot override a malfunction. Test Circuit - Simply press the test switch and a complete diagnostic test is performed in an instant. No gas required.
